Civica today announced that it has won the 2011 Microsoft Software Asset Management Innovation Partner of the Year Award. The company was honoured among a global field of top Microsoft partners for providing outstanding solutions and services based on Microsoft technology.
Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 3,000 entrants worldwide. The Software Asset Management (SAM) Innovation Partner of the Year Award honours a partner who consistently innovates and leverages SAM solutions and services, enabling customers to take advantage of new technologies such as virtualisation and cloud computing. The award recognises Civica, whose successful innovative services are used to provide outstanding results with appropriate supporting customer evidence.
Recent innovations for UK customers have included Civica Services’ Software Spending Review – which is aimed at helping public sector bodies to cut software costs at a time of austerity - as well as its Green Review that helps corporate IT teams simplify compliance with the UK government’s CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.
